Shotgun Shine consists of 4 experienced band members, Martin Found (guitar, main songwriter, backing & lead vocals), Martin Radford (lead vocals), Graham Osborne (bass), and Jon Miles (drums & backing vox).
Martin (Found) and Jon, both of Midsomer Norton, have played years ago in bands. Martin (Radford) hails from Bristol and now lives in Clutton, and Graham is originally from London and having moved to Horningsham on the Longleat estate, very recently he moved to Frome.
The band tend to work more and more collaboratively now, although Martin Found being a very prolific talented songwriter still writes just about all the initial material, the band then arrange and develop it.
Influences are mixed, hence the eclectic sound, ranging from rock to reggae, jazzy and funky tinged grooves. Primarily playing original material with strong emphasis on melody, vocals, interesting rhythmic ideas and interplay between the band members, they come alive when they play live - that's what they are really all about. |
